NEED TO PLAY

My collages of expressive colors, shapes, prints and textiles display a world of endless possibilities and joyful interactions. ‘NEED TO PLAY’ is an antidote to the daily pressures and stress, both in society as well as in design methods. By thinking, manipulating and adapting rules I create my own playground. A playground that is joyful and optimistic with a playful attitude where positivity and unexpected interactions are the main drivers. 

With this project I was invited for the Lichting 2019 at Amsterdam Fashion Week, Fashionclash, Dutch Design Week Eindhoven and Modefabriek Amsterdam. I also won the Jooke Veeze Award 2020 for my print designs.
